What We Teach at Eastridge

At Eastridge, we are committed to the expository preaching of God's Word. That means that at any Sunday worship service you can expect to hear a sermon that derives its point directly from a particular passage of Scripture. The goal is always to understand and explain what that passage means in its original context and how that meaning impacts our understanding of God and manner of living today.

We affirm the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, and as the only basis of our beliefs. Eastridge Baptist accepts, as a general statement of our faith, the doctrinal statement of the Conservative Baptist Association of America, dated July 5, 1999. We do not practice or teach the use of "sign gifts" such as tongues, miracles, prophecies, etc. in our services and ministries.
