Matthew 25:40

Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.

College & Career Ministries - for Singles and Marrieds

The purpose of the College & Career ministries at Eastridge is:

Building disciples (Matthew 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations...") and serving wherever we can (John 13:12-17 "... If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet ...").

To become a disciple we need to love God and know His Word. We try to accomplish this by having a time of shared prayer and study of God's Word every Sunday during our Sunday School class. We embrace what Dwight L. Moody said in that "The Bible was not given to increase our knowledge, but to change our lives." We encourage participation in a mid-week Bible study; we also have a weekly memory verse to bless and challenge us.

We love serving others and see that as an integral part of God's calling. Many of our college-career people serve on the worship team, work with the youth, teach Sunday School and Children's Church, serve in Awana, participate in church work parties, serve as greeters on Sunday mornings, and go on short term mission trips.

And yes, we have good times together, too, whether it be on the first Sunday of every month for "Pizza Sunday" or any of our social times, where laughter and sharing life together are fully embraced. We are here to better love God and others!
