Our Sunday Services

Eastridge offers two Sunday services: 8:30am and 11:15am. Seat reservations are not required. Both services are also livestreamed on our YouTube channel.

The services are identical, including the music. We sing a mixture of contemporary praise music and traditional hymns. On any given Sunday our worship team will be made up of one or more of the following: piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, trumpet, violin, drums, and, of course, vocals. Words to the songs are projected onto an overhead screen for you to follow along. A typical service includes announcements, worship music, Bible reading, communion (last Sunday of each month), and an expository message.

Most people's dress would be considered business casual, though you will see some in jeans, some men in coats and ties, and some ladies in dresses.

 

Teaching

At Eastridge, we are committed to the expository preaching of God's Word. That means that at any Sunday worship service you can expect to hear a sermon that derives its point directly from a particular passage of Scripture. The goal is always to understand and explain what that passage means in its original context and how that meaning impacts our understanding of God and manner of living today.

 

Our Sunday Schedule

For Children

Children's Church. Eastridge offers Children's Church for children ages 4 through 2nd grade during both worship services. Children will be dismissed to their class before the preaching begins and their teacher will meet them in the foyer and take them to their classroom. In their classroom they will sing, learn a Bible lesson directed at their age group, and have fun! 

Sunday School. During the Sunday School hour from 10:00 to 11:00am, we offer Bible-based classes for children ages 4 through 6th grade on the lower floor of Building B.

Nursery. We offer an infant nursery (ages newborn to under 2) and a toddler nursery (ages 2 and 3) during both services and the Sunday school hour. When you arrive at Eastridge, one of our friendly greeters or ushers can direct you to the appropriate nursery for your child.

For Teens

128 Student Ministries is our ministry for teens. Students in grades 7 through 12 are invited to join us for Sunday School from 10:00 to 11:00am in our Youth Center (top floor of Building B). 

For Young Adults

Anchored is our ministry for all young adults, ages 18 to late 20s, desiring to grow in gospel proclamation, deep discipleship, and active faith. This group meets for young adult Sunday School in our large portable.

For Adults

Eastridge offers adult Sunday school classes each Sunday from 10:00 to 11:00am:  

  • Held in the main auditorium. Various teachers and topics. You will find audio recordings of the Sunday school classes here.

  • We offer additional adult Sunday school classes throughout the year. Check the bulletin for the latest class information.
