Our Sunday Services

Eastridge offers Sunday School classes at 8:30am, and one Worship Service at 10:00am, with 30-minutes of fellowship between. Our worship service is also livestreamed on our YouTube channel.

A typical worship service includes announcements, worship music, Bible reading, communion (last Sunday of each month), and an expository message. We sing a mixture of contemporary praise music and traditional hymns. On any given Sunday, our worship team will be made up of one or more of the following: piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass, trumpet, violin, drums, and, of course, vocals. Words to the songs are projected onto an overhead screen for you to follow along.

Most people's dress would be considered business casual, though you will see some in jeans, some men in coats and ties, and some ladies in dresses.

 

Teaching

At Eastridge, we are committed to the expository preaching of God's Word. That means that at any Sunday worship service you can expect to hear a sermon that derives its point directly from a particular passage of Scripture. The goal is always to understand and explain what that passage means in its original context and how that meaning impacts our understanding of God and manner of living today.

 

Our Sunday Schedule

For Children

Children's Church. Eastridge offers Children's Church for children ages 4 through 8 during both worship services. Children will be dismissed to their class before the preaching begins and their teacher will meet them in the foyer and take them to their classroom. In their classroom they will sing, learn a Bible lesson directed at their age group, and have fun! 

Sunday School. During the Sunday School hour from 8:30-9:30am, we offer Bible-based classes for children ages 4 through 12 on the lower floor of Building B.

Nursery. We offer an infant nursery (ages newborn to 2) and a toddler nursery (2 to 4) during both services and the Sunday school hour. When you arrive at Eastridge, one of our friendly greeters or ushers can direct you to the appropriate nursery for your child.

*Note: The age your child was on August 31 prior to the start of the current school year determines the class they will be in (e.g. Children’s church-ages 4-7 on August 31, Children’s nursery-ages 2-3 on August 31.)

For Teens

128 Student Ministries is our ministry for teens. Students ages 12* to 18 are invited to join us for Sunday School from 8:30 to 9:30am in our Youth Center (top floor of Building B). 

*Note: To qualify for youth group, your student must be 12-17 years of age on August 31 prior to the start of the current school year.

For Adults

Eastridge offers adult Sunday school classes each Sunday from 8:30 to 9:30am:

  • Held in the main auditorium. Various teachers and topics. You will find audio recordings of the Sunday school classes here.

  • We offer additional adult Sunday school classes throughout the year. Check the bulletin for the latest class information.
