Elder Mark McMinn teaches through Exodus chapters 17 and 18. He explores how the Israelites’ grumbling turned to quarreling in the wilderness, and yet how God continued to provide for them. In chapter 18, Moses’ father Jethro comes to both encourage Moses and challenge him to lead the people better through dividing up the responsibility.
Elder Mark McMinn introduces Exodus chapter 7, beginning a conversation around the first plagues. He then encouraged the congregants to discuss the chapter more closely in small groups.
Elder Ken Lilly gives a review of Exodus 1-4, followed by an overview of chapters 5 and 6. He then encourages the listeners to use a Five-W study method to look at the text more closely.
