The Mission-Focused Church makes Discipleship a top priority, working tirelessly to assimilate Christians into the life of the church, and challenging them to lay down their lives for Christ.
If Christians are to spiritually grow and flourish, personally and collectively, then Christ and His Word must maintain the central place in the life of the mission-focused church.
The Mission-focused church is not only committed to outreach, but also to fostering a local church atmosphere where Christians can thrive and grow in Christ alongside other believers.
Although we live amidst a hostile world, we can have the confidence that God’s Word will never return void, and thus we should faithfully proclaim it for His glory and the good of our fellow man.
Far from a weak or self-energized endeavor, the Christian mission on earth is enabled by the unrivaled power of the third Person of the Godhead, the precious Holy Spirit.
Mission-focused Christians, and the Mission-focused church, are fueled to fulfill their purpose by their unwavering convictions and love for a compelling Christ.
As Christians, it is crucial that we cultivate a humble attitude and humble submission toward God's Word, if we want to be faithful and effective in our mission.
As mission-focused Christians, it is important to diligently be cultivating humility of heart in response to the majesty of God.
If we desire to be mission-focused Christians, we need an accurate view of God and of ourselves.
